Bottle depot pick up services largely came about during Covid when customers were not able to visit the bottle depot or when they felt unsafe to do so. But just because these services were born out of necessity doesn’t mean they are going away any time soon. Having the bottle depot pick up your empty drink containers is not only convenient but helps those who don’t drive or who can’t make it to the depot during business hours.


So, here’s a bit more about our pick up service options….


Residential bottle depot pick up is very simple. You fill out the form on our website and we will reach out via email to schedule a pick up date and time. On that day during the time window, you simply put your empties where we can find them on your property and we will grab them. You don’t need to be home or have any contact with our team at all.


The bottles are then taken back to the depot for counting. Once we have a total, it is e-transferred straight to you or if you designated it to a charity, we will send you a tax receipt. The whole counting process is recorded and you can ask to view it after the count is done if you prefer.


Our commercial recycling program is available to condos, buildings, public areas and businesses in the Calgary area. We can set up a recurring time to pick up bottles from you, usually 1-3 times per week depending on the type of business you are and how many containers you tend to collect at a time. 


Commercial bottle depot pick up services work very similarly to residential in that once we collect the empty drink containers, they go back to the depot for counting and the refund is sent to you directly or donated.


If you schedule a one time pick up with us online, often we can have the pick up done within hours, especially if our crew will be in your area that day. All you need to do is fill out the online form and we can let you know how fast we can arrive. The goal is to get to every pick up request within 24 hours of receiving the request. Sometimes we are really busy, but for the most part, we are able to guarantee a 24 hour time frame to collect your bottles. Once we have them picked up, you will usually receive your refund quickly, but within 24 hours is our promise to you.
